Floral Products Used: yarrow, carnation, boxwood

Fabric and textile designs are especially interesting to me, and vary in every part of the world. I used boxwood to create the feeling of the movement, small carnations to add color, and bright yarrow as the focal point of color.

black ground fabric; embroidered in predominately orange with some red and yellow highlights; central leaf- or feather-like motifs with floral and leaf forms; scrolling leaves or feathers at each end; band of red, orange and green off-center; black netting trim at short ends with black tassels
