Untroubled Waters

4 year Art in Bloom participant

Floral Products Used: rice flower, yarrow, forget-me-nots, acacia foliage, spruce

This year my daughter Meryl Spencer collaborated with me by creating pottery for the arrangement. We liked the woodblock print because it evokes the Arts and Craft movement. The artwork also reminded us of family hikes in the Apostle Islands.

Floral Arrangement Inspired by...

landscape image of wooded shoreline; six silhouettes of trees dispersed across foreground; shoreline edged with rocks extends along left portion of background; large tree covered hill extends upwards behind shore; body of water along lower right quadrant; strip of land in upper right quadrant along horizon; pale green and yellow gradated sky
