A 3-Dimensional wire used to make a contour face is resting upon a rough texture of faded whites and purple cotton fabric. The  silver wire creates a unique shadow of the face beneath it depending on the angle of the light. The wire face lies oblique on the canvas looking right at the viewer.

This is what we have done

This is a paper collage with writing. There are two pictures of a man and a woman teaching a disco dance, and between those, a third picture of a young boy skateboarding. The narrative is a true story involving me and both of those things.

Thermal Pool

An encaustic painting of a desert background with a photo of a zebra printed on tissue paper and embedded into the encaustic wax medium. Sienna pigmented wax dots were added in vertical columns and horizontal rows to add texture to the piece and highlight the zebra.
