Queen of the Dream Cave

A pair of silver earrings which consists of a textured metal, a soldered bezel, and a peridot CZ stone.  It is given a patina finish to highlight the circular background texture.  The ear wires are hand made from argentium silver.

Big City

Blue-aqua and green tones mimicking swirling streams with white caps peacefully at the surface while the under lying clutter of water pollution concerns arise. At the lower bottom of the canvas, are shredded plastic water bottle pieces symbolizing the importance to keeping the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes waterways unpolluted and caring for human and marine lives.

Amber Moon, Tuscan Sky

A 3 dimensional abstract painting with vinyl brush stroke paint marks and thread sewn into piece. Colors are pastels and neons.

Orange, yellow and red stained and layered glass form the background and represent dangers of climate change (earth on fire/flooding due to polar melting). Paper mache' figures of Peruvian masked dancers with instruments (drum and accordion) sing the warning cry.  A blue and red fused glass disc represents earth flooded while the "sky" is the color most recently viewed during the West Coast wild fires.

Woman’s image under convex glass dreaming her universe into being. Comet set with moonstone and other celestial objects made from found objects fill night sky made of black and gold porcelain tea cup and saucer.

The image is based on a photograph of my elderly mother.  I've added a textural background with collaged paper and floral fabric elements to the square artwork.

A mixed-medium portrait of local drag queen, Mexica Xadows, surrounded by dahlias, Mexico's national flower, which both depicts Mexica's pride in their Mexican culture, and to juxtapose the powerful pose and dress of Mexica. This is part of a series of portraits of local drag queens.
