The papier-mâché sculpture is the round head of a Pomeranian dog. He has a warm tan colored face accented with friendly facial features of big round eyes with eyelashes, a round nose and sweet mouth and freckles on the cheeks. The face is surrounded with soft butter yellow and white yarn.

Maple Wood Bowl

A smooth rounded form of a bear in a typical standing posture with bulk concentrated forward over the front legs. The back hair has left un-smoothed to provide contrasting texture. Inlays, front and back, of inlace give some color contrast.

A mini sculpture of a dark, glistening, yet malnourished claws of a dystopian creature, that fills the room with an eerie aroma.

A small sculpture with a base comprised of a wooden panel raised by push pin feet with scaffolding of painted wood suspending a blue pamphlet over the base forming a triangular wedge that hovers over black rectangle of sandpaper.

My Levitating House

A wet felted wool sculpture of a bust. The face is white with a mix of natural colored wool and cotton gauze felted together and the eyes are stitched in ecru and light green. The hair is voluminous, made of long scraps of fabric hand dyed with natural dyes. The head sits on a recycled bedspring.

Fabricated Labyrinth

This is an image of a frog in foliage, sculpted and cast in iron, roughly a square format. The frog is inspired by a frog living near a pond in my neighborhood. The pond-and I expect the frog, is drying up slowly year by year due to development and climate change. Frog is just hanging on.

Yorick

This sculpture was made from an oak burl, the burl was cut to fit into a 12 inch cube. The flat cut surfaces were polished while the natural surfaces were charred with a torch, all surfaces were then oiled to bring out the grain pattern.

Lightning Downed Oak

This  sculpture of an angel was created with things found in my studio during COVID lockdown. She has sheet music on her arms and book pages for her skirt. Handmade lace doilies complete her skirt. Her wings came from a bird that perched in the Christmas tree. She holds an antique stick pin that acts as a pinwheel ."Hope" signifies that we can find beauty and fun wherever and whatever the circumstances of life.
