My arm is reaching out from the right edge of the picture plane to shake the hand of the shadow of a figure reflected on the ground. Padmasana (Lotus)

this is an abstract exploration of the texture and essence of stone as inspired by the ancient stones of Ireland.  It is a painting on paper torn up and collaged to a panel and then painted further with oil and cold wax medium.  I've utilized a limited palette and focused on the texture and shapes which are reminiscent of the ubiquitous dry stack walls crisscrossing the island.
