A shallow glass abstract art bowl was made from square layers of white, sea green and cobalt blue glass fused together with heat and pressure. It represents an ocean view on a beautiful breezy day.


Sea Breezes

Various materials used to create a 3D canvas sculpture of a loon from the face-on perspective: canvas, Gorilla glue, wood putty, hockey tape, and Amazon boxes. Painted with oils to enhance the third dimension.

The Loon

This steel cube has a large swoosh cut out of the side, starting at two opposite corners and cutting a large arc deep into the cube.  Inside the cube is a ball suspended as if it is riding through the cut.  The sculpture is made of steel, and textured in patterns radiating around the cut. Blue Calling

This is an image of a frog in foliage, sculpted and cast in iron, roughly a square format. The frog is inspired by a frog living near a pond in my neighborhood. The pond-and I expect the frog, is drying up slowly year by year due to development and climate change. Frog is just hanging on.  

Hanging On

This sculpture was made from an oak burl, the burl was cut to fit into a 12 inch cube. The flat cut surfaces were polished while the natural surfaces were charred with a torch, all surfaces were then oiled to bring out the grain pattern.

a resin sculpture of a goddess wearing only her chains, and the adornment her rose, moon phase, skull, and lip tattoos.  

Licentious Nymph

A small Tea House made of vertical sticks of driftwood on green base.  The windows are covered with tracing paper and each has a Japanese symbol on it.  The roof is made from small rectangles of birchbark which are cut to appear like  wooden shingles.

Little Tea House

Chased copper depicting two Scilla flowers. One flower featuring green patinated leaves with a blue blossom the other leaves and flower in natural copper.  The Scilla are planted in a knotty Oak base.

Pretending Nature

A small sculpture with a base comprised of a wooden panel raised by push pin feet with scaffolding of painted wood suspending a blue pamphlet over the base forming a triangular wedge that hovers over black rectangle of sandpaper.

My Levitating House

A fine silver heart that has been oxidized, lightly pounded, and polished. The heart has cracks and jagged edges that have been filled in and repaired with 22kt gold.

A small wood sculpture of a mushroom which is coarsely cut  out of a branch which still has  some bark on it giving the end product a rich coloration  which runs the gamut between dark and light brown.

Green Heron made from paper mache, the feathers are made using watercolor on Arches watercolor paper, each feather is cut by scissors and applied to the bird.  The nest is made with wire and gel medium.

This sculpture consists of a King James Bible with three Spinosaurus teeth embedded into it, encased in an acrylic dome on a wood base with an acrylic stand.
