This vessel is faceted, meaning that clay has been sliced and torn away from the thrown form. What started as a round form is now jagged and angular. The cup utilizes a shino glaze that has a retinue of warm browns, oranges, and whites. The subtle streaks of blacks and greens are visible from the sides come from a wood ash solution.

A creamy porcelain bowl with a brown cat face. The cat face has blue eyes and a pink nose. Brown pointed ears extend above the rim of the bowl. In the back, the rim has been cut with a spiral for yarn to create a tail. The bowl sits above the table on four legs brown legs with cat paws.

Steampunk Teapot

A blue/green oriental style dragon coils around a deep blue ball shaped jar.  Each scale, talon and detail carefully sculpted and applied one at a time. The frill around the face, the horns and teeth are covered in 22k gold. It holds in it's mouth another round ball covered in iridescent glaze.  This "pearl" mimics the ball the dragon encircles. The blue ball jar is also highlighted by some iridescence.  The jar comes open dividing the dragon just before the front legs.

Petal bowl

This is a rounded blue jar made out of high-fire stoneware. It has 10 orange squares on one side stacked vertically in three rows: four in one row, three in the next and two in the next row. The jar has a lid with a thin nob to use as a handle to lift the lid off the jar.

Ceramic ink well type shape, small holes pierce through the top half. Long elegant iron-like scrolls extend up on the left side. Finished with a white washed type terra sigillata.

A soft alpaca made of red clay standing on 4 long triangular legs and a long triangular neck. the fur texture is made of swirls that have spikes coming out. the animal looks stoic and is embellished with blue, black and green glaze. it looks very enticing to touch.
