A painting featuring a light-gray, asymmetrical rhombus that is broader at the bottom. The rhombus shape is bisected vertically by a band of gold and is bordered by parallel bands of crimson, gold, and dark green running towards the  four corners of the canvas. Never Forgotten Again

This piece was inspired by a fall trip up north, stopping at an overlook of Grand Portage on a dramatic cloudy sunrise. This piece is layered with colors and heavy gloss medium on a canvas board. With the many layers of color and medium I hoped to create a rich deep perspective of this superior view.

Heart for Art

The piece is in a black frame and is square. The background is a swirling psychedelic mix of teal, purple, yellow and red encaustic wax. The wax is mostly smooth but in some places there are areas of texture. In the top half there is a large scribble of black india ink that moves across the piece horizontally. On the right side of the scribble is a large open circle of india ink. On the bottom half there are ink transfers across the entire piece of vintage word plate in another language. Three dollops of gold foil dot the piece in a wide triangle.
