eye to eye

This image was made in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon in the fall of 2015. It was made to show the motion, beauty cool environment of the numerous waterfalls in the Gorge by focusing on a high contrast section of falling mist.

A Quilt for George Floyd

Color photograph overlooking a wide expanse of ocean at twilight, within a dramatic landscape entirely shrouded in deep dark blue hues, we find a naked male figure walking out into the waters of the unknown. The photo is mounted within a shadowbox frame with the image continuing and wrapping around the inside of the shadowbox frame, which is hand-painted in black with subtle hints of blue and cosmic wonder.

Forever Caught Between The Infinite And The Contained

Paris at Night. Painted on my son's 6th Birthday. The kids took a bunch of paint and put paint blobs on my canvas, when I wiped it off I saw the outline of an angel. My son at a stroke at 16 months and we were told he might not live to be 2, 3, but if he makes it to 6 he will probably make it. This is a reminder to me that there are Angel's and higher forces watching out for us.
