Hands

The image is a side profile portrait of a woman's head and some of her neck. Her eyes are closed, (long lashes touch her face) somewhat enigmatically - it is not clear if she is sad, in thought, or accepting of a situation, or merely striking a pose. her nose is set low, and petite, right above her mouth. She could be in her 30s or 40s. Her face has very few lines, her lips are closed. Her hair is short, ending at her jaw line in a curl. Her hair has texture marking throughout, implying shadow or color and a fine or medium thickness. Part of her neckline is visable. This work is done in graphite on paper.

Quietly Come, Quietly Go

Isolation

A circular labyrinth of bright and colorful abstract shapes that overlap with one another to create additional colors. These shapes mark the path upon which you will travel as you follow the yellow "lights" along the way. While the path winds around, it is open, transparent, therapeutic, and also energizing. It will lead to a peaceful and positive place. Inspired by the therapy art and art therapy of California-based artist and music composer Jo Verdis. 

Follow the Light (or Windy Path)
