This coffee and tea set features etched scenes palm trees and camels along with Iraqi tourist destinations such as the Ctesiphon Arch and the swamps of the Marsh Arabs and their reed houses in the south. This type of silverwork is a traditional craft in Iraq and the set would have been made to appeal to the tourist trade.
