Phaethon, 1935

Not on Viewexpand_more

The South Dakota Badlands and Grand Canyon inspired the look of Ross Braught's lithographic book Phaethon, based on the Roman poet Ovid's Metamorphoses. For Braught, mythic power lies in the landscape, where trees, waters and hills surge with the energy of the female form.
