This large beaker, decorated in standard famille verte overglaze enamels, depicts a domestic scene in the lower register while the "three Star Gods" and young children are illustrated in the neck of the vase. The lower scene shows the well-attired matriarch and patriarch of an aristocratic household formally seated on either side of a round incense stand while other family members gather in front of them for a domestic ceremony.
