This bandolier bag features abstracted representations of leaves, flowers and berries, which are essential elements of traditional Anishinabe lifestyle. One strap has a series of small hourglass-shaped figures, symbolizing Thunderbirds. Thunderbirds are a manito, or spiritual force, representing the power of the sky.
