A Normandy Horse, 1913

Not on Viewexpand_more

Growing up on a farm on the island of Jersey, in the English Channel, Edmund Blampied developed a deep love of animals, especially horses. This simple, forthright rendering of a lone workhorse in a windswept Normandy pasture reveals his sympathy for these powerful, majestic animals he knew so well.
