Offfset lithography, folded and gluedexpand_more
The John R. Van Derlip Library Fundexpand_more B.97.6.4
As the title states, Ruscha's book depicts a complete record of the buildings along Hollywood's famous Sunset Strip. The book's deadpan, documentary feel, and absense of any explanatory text, typified Ruscha's early artist's books. When fully extended, this accordion-fold book measures nearly 25 feet in length.
