Vessel, supported on two bulbous feet and the end of a long handle in the form of a gourd. Body, ridged at lower belly, carries three pierced Ceremonial incense burner, Monte Alban III. step-motifs above the two front legs. Wide flaring lip. Vessel surface covered with clay, but handle shows a burnished brown slip over a pale body. Traces of a pained design in red show on the gourd foot and the rim. Badly cracked at rim.
