Rectangle of ivory satin brocaded with figures of courtiers and ladies, rampant dogs and stags, couchant lions under palm trees, and large peacock, the latter with velvet necks and "eyes," separated from each other by stylized Renaissance fountains. The whole lined with apricot satin and edged with silk fringe of yellow, gold, ivory and turquoise. Last 8" cut away, leaving lining and fringe intact.
