The abstracted plant motifs, arabesques, and C-scrolls that decorate this pair of rimmonim, or Torah finials, are typical of those found in Moroccan metalwork. These would be placed on the staves of a Torah protruding from the top of a hard-sided tik, or Torah container, such as the one also seen in this case.
