This cylindrical wellhead has an A-frame superstructure topped with a square framed housing for a pulley, covered by a tiled hip roof. A water bucket meant for lowering into the well with the help of the pulley and rope completes the group. Nearly all essentials were provided in Han tomb furnishings. In this case, a well was the source of water for the afterlife.
