Over the past several years, Carol and Jeffrey Horvitz have compiled a significant collection of primarily Japanese contemporary ceramics that they frequently lend to museums around the United States and Canada. Mia has received annual extended loans from the Horvitzs since 2010. This is their third gift to the museum, a selection of ten objects from among the more than one hundred they have lent over the years.
