Stealth Makeup for Kagekiyo in the play "Gedatsu," thought out by Torii Kiyotada, 1940

This makeup was developed by the painter Torii Kiyotada IV (1875-1942) for the actor Ichikawa Sadanji II (1880-1940) to use for the role of Kagekiyo 景清 in the play "Nirvana" (Gedatsu 解説) that was staged at the Hongo Theater in January of 1914. It includes blue lines that are not seen in previous makeups for this role.
