Rose's artist's book 1018 W. Scott Street was titled after the address of the Milwaukee house designed and built by Rose's grandfather in the early 20th century. In this intensely personal remembrance, Rose blends Danto's prose with his own photographs of various installations simulating the childhood recollections of his grandfather's basement laboratory.
