Although no drawing by Raphael survives for this charming composition, the design of the engraving has been traditionally ascribed to him. Raimondi's bold stylistic treatment of this rolicking ring of seven children led by two cupids demonstrates his masterful way of interpreting the buoyancy of the figures' movements.
